Dear Microsoft, The opportunity is here take advantage

I have a great idea and very puzzled that it hasn't been implemented as of yet. Before I explain what this is, let me give you a small summary of a feature that is used for Xbox Live. Its called Party; if anyone is not familiar of what this feature is, please let me explain. The Party feature is a way for your friends, family or perfect strangers to stay together, while chatting, playing games, watching movies together, ect..

Now that I have gotten that out of the way, let me get explain the gold mine idea to thrive not only Microsoft's side of business but also there Third-party partners. It's called invite party to view game (The opposite of inviting party to game). OK stop, I know someone is sitting there puzzled, what are you talking about? Here's the scenario. Let's say I have a day off work and in this free time, I decided to play Xbox360 and all of a sudden, I realized I've been working so hard as of yet and I have not invested money into games like I used to. So I can either go online look at Kotaku, Major Nelson, IGN, or Gamespot to see whats new out there, or I can be lazy and pull up my friends list, to see what selection of games my friends are playing. (I'll do this one ;)).

Then I notice a friend is playing Crackdown 2. I send him a message asking "How good is this game", the friend then replies ”Here let me invite you to view game”. So I click accept, and I am sitting there relaxed watching this gamer play Crackdown 2 in the comfort of my living room. In this time the gamer can chat to you explaining how cool this game is and give you a game walk-through. (Spoilers may occur please view at your own risk!) DING DONG! Guess what happens next, I say "Hold on let me go to my local Gamestop and purchase Crackdown 2 maybe we can play some co-op together.

IMO This small feature can help increase software sales, of course there has to be a few tweaks and some restrictions, creating this feature can go way beyond of what I just explained and I can go on and on, of things that can be used for this. Not only for the gamer side but also the developer side. What a cool way of using the 27+ Xbox live members as advertisers.

Microsoft if you are out there listening please aim at using this to your advantage, If it's not already in the works.

P.S. The Xbox Engineering Team has done wonderful things for Xbox Live, and I know for a fact this can be done because it has. Remember PGR3.

Best Regards,

The Gamer
